OLD Santa Barbara Mission Rose Garden

Scandinavian friends gathered at The Santa Barbara Mission Rose Garden on September 22nd to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox HØSTJEVNDØGN - a farewell to summer and hello to fall.  Day and night are the same length on that day.  Members brought friends with their picnic baskets to enjoy good company and wander through the roses.  We were all delighted when Mission bells chimed at 6pm.  We were forced to say goodbye when the darkness came at 7:20pm.  Let's do this again!
